Talking Points is
coordinating the implementation of the strategic plan for the New Carolinas
Nuclear Cluster, a consortium of 29 energy, engineering and
education organizations.
Talking Points is the
coordinating organization for "Charlotte USA - The New Energy
Capital." This effort is defining the energy an engineering
brand of the 16 county Charlotte USA Region. This region is
rich with expertise in nuclear, Smart Grid, renewable an other
energy expertise.
Scott Carlberg is
facilitating the start-up of the "Energy Production and
Infrastructure Center" at UNC Charlotte. "EPIC" will help meet
critical energy workforce needs as the nation faces a 300+ megawatt
need for electricity in coming years.
Scott Carlberg has
managed a project to restructure the marketing and communications
for the university alumni association with the largest living base
of alum's in the nation (500,000+).
Scott Carlberg was a panelist for the
International Economic Development Council annual meeting in
Atlanta. Topic: "Success Starts With Your Board," which will help
economic development organizations recruit and develop board
leaders.
Scott Carlberg's study called, "Open For Business,"
established ways to align industry and higher education
relationships. The study was done for the University of North Carolina system.
