Scott Carlberg and Talking Points (LLC) custom-design approaches and solutions to corporate and non-profit entities ensuring public affairs activities meet - and drive - profits.

We work closely with clients to assess and identify challenges and opportunities that help senior management, boards and community collaboratives focus on their business objectives.

Public relations can get the word out for you.  Talking Points' public affairs bring connections in for you. We drive the hard numbers from what some see as a soft science of relationships and communications.  It's not public relations, it's public affairs ... the magnifying glass that concentrates messages and relationships to reach the right people, not just any people.

Activities include:

  • Key stakeholder analysis
  • Executive positioning
  • Engaging and re-energizing boards
  • Developing targeted, consistent programs that achieve corporate goals, enhance networks and build systems and processes for measurable results

Public Affairs Specialties:

  • Energy industry development, stakeholder relations, communications and executive outreach
  • Higher education relations; communications assessments
  • Project management supporting business development, corporate citizenship and stakeholder relations
  • Non-profit board governance and strategy
